Published: 2017-08-18

AME Publishing Company’ (AME) and ‘Taiwan Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology’ (TASTRO) officially signed a contract on July 18th, 2017, laying down their cooperation in co-publishing a journal in the near future.

With the help of Prof. Yu-Jen Chen, the Director of TASTRO, the contract was signed by Mr. Stephen D. Wang, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AME and K. S. Clifford Chao, MD, the President of TASTRO and Vice President of China Medical University. Prof. Eric Y. Chuang, the Chief Editor of Translational Cancer Research (TCR), was also invited to witness this historical moment. This is the first time AME Publishing Company has burst into Taiwan’s market, and it is also a milestone for AME to be recognized by more international institutions. Signing this contract also allows TASTRO to increase its academic impact.

The collaboration is a result of the recommendation from Prof. Eric Y. Chuang. As a matter of fact, the seed of cooperation between the two parties were sowed at the beginning of the year. Reaching a consensus in a short period of time, it is expected that the journal will be published in the foreseeable future. AME Publishing Company, with considerable experience in publishing medical journals, will help bring vigor into Taiwan Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. Through the collaboration, both parties wish to mutually benefit each other and expand their influence to the globe. Not only do we hope this journal can enhance the academic level of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, but also foster communications among academic groups and scholars locally and internationally.
